About Loft Extension Expert
Loft Extension Expert is a UK-wide loft conversion service. You tell us about your home through our online form, and we help you plan and arrange the right conversion for it. We focus on loft conversions and the work around them, from stairs and structure to planning and insulation.
What we do
We cover the main types of loft conversion, including roof-light, dormer, hip-to-gable, mansard and bungalow conversions. We also handle the related work that every project needs, such as staircase design, structural design and Building Regulations. Because these parts depend on each other, we plan them together from the start.
We focus on houses and bungalows. Flats and maisonettes follow different planning rules, since permitted development rights for lofts apply to houses only. Therefore we will tell you early if your home falls outside what we can help with.
How we work
Every project starts with the enquiry form, because it gives us the facts we need to reply properly. We then talk through your goals, look at the loft and explain the options. Meanwhile, we keep costs clear by setting out what a price covers before work starts.
